A Smile That Feels Like You

Cosmetic dentistry isn’t about dramatic transformations or cookie-cutter results. It’s about refining what you have — enhancing the colour, shape, and appearance of your smile in a way that feels natural and suits your face.
At Clyde Dental Care, we take time to understand what you’d like to change and what you’d like to keep. We’re honest about what’s achievable, which treatments will give you lasting results, and what the process looks like — so you can make an informed decision without any pressure.

Our Cosmetic Treatments

Porcelain Veneers

Ultra-thin porcelain shells bonded to the front surface of your teeth. Ideal for changing colour, shape, size, or masking chips and cracks — with natural-looking, long-lasting results.

Composite Veneers

A more conservative, reversible alternative to porcelain. Composite resin is sculpted directly onto your teeth in a single appointment — great for minor shape corrections and chips.

Composite Bonding

A quick, minimally invasive way to repair chips, close small gaps, reshape teeth, or improve discolouration. Often completed in a single visit with no drilling required.

Smile Makeovers

A coordinated plan combining multiple treatments — whitening, veneers, bonding, or orthodontics — to achieve a comprehensive transformation tailored to your goals and budget.

Teeth Whitening

Professional-grade take-home whitening with custom-fitted trays — noticeably brighter results that last, with sensitivity managed throughout. The most popular first step in any smile upgrade.

Tooth-Coloured Restorations

Replace old amalgam (silver) fillings with tooth-coloured composite restorations for a natural, seamless look — functional and cosmetically improved at the same time.

Is Cosmetic Dentistry Right for You?

Good candidates for cosmetic dental treatment are people with healthy teeth and gums who’d like to improve how their smile looks. If there are underlying dental issues — decay, gum disease, or bite problems — we’ll address those first, because cosmetic results will only last if the foundation is sound.

How We Approach Cosmetic Treatment

Smile Consultation

We listen to what you'd like to change, review your dental health, and walk through the options that would suit your teeth, face, and budget — no pressure, no upselling.

Treatment Planning

We create a personalised plan — whether that's a single treatment or a phased approach — with clear timelines and cost estimates before anything begins.

Treatment

Delivered carefully, with your comfort in mind. We explain what we're doing as we go, and check in with you throughout. Most cosmetic treatments require just one or two appointments.

Maintenance & Care

We guide you on how to care for your results and what to expect over time. Good home habits and regular check-ups keep your smile looking its best for years.

Not sure where to start? A consultation is the best first step — we’ll look at your teeth together and talk through what’s possible.
Happy to talk you through your options before committing to anything.

Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers about cosmetic dental treatment.
Porcelain veneers are fabricated in a lab from ceramic material — they’re stronger, more stain-resistant, and typically last 10–15+ years. Composite veneers are sculpted directly onto your teeth in a single appointment using composite resin. They’re more affordable and reversible, but usually need replacing or touching up every 5–7 years. We’ll help you choose based on your goals and budget.
Composite bonding and composite veneers involve little to no removal of tooth structure. Porcelain veneers require a small amount of enamel reduction, which is why they’re considered irreversible. We always explain exactly what each treatment involves before proceeding, and only recommend what’s clinically appropriate for your situation.
Costs vary depending on the treatment and the number of teeth involved. A composite bonding procedure for a single tooth is very different in price to a full set of porcelain veneers. We provide detailed quotes before any treatment begins so you know exactly what to expect. Payment plans are available for larger treatments.
If you’re only having some teeth veneered (not a full set), it’s worth whitening your natural teeth first — since veneers can be colour-matched to a shade that would then look consistent with your whitened teeth. We’ll walk you through the sequencing during your consultation.
Porcelain veneers typically last 10–15 years or more with good oral hygiene. Composite veneers and bonding last 5–7 years on average. Whitening results typically last 1–3 years depending on diet and lifestyle. Regular check-ups and good home care are the biggest factors in longevity.
Orthodontic treatment (braces or Invisalign) is often done first if teeth need to be repositioned — this can reduce the number of veneers needed and improve the final result. We offer Invisalign and clear aligner treatment in-house, so both can be planned together as part of a phased approach.
